Good Morning Granny Land. Tired of coughing still. I've completed all of the meds for pneumonia and strep.

Granny some of the tests that get ran for dementia can only be run by removing the brain. For the sake of my brothers two sons my SIL had the test ran on him. It was positive for multiple dementia types including Alzheimer. I always thought I would be the one to lose my mind so to speak. I do remember the adults talking about people who lost their minds and went crazy as they described dementia when I was in early elementary grades. Dementia is such a terrible disease as l have never heard of anyone being medically cured. I've had relatives ask me over and over again the same question when they hadn't seen me in awhile and thought they were just catching up on any family news.

Morning, I would just feel better I guess if they ruled out some other things that can cause the same symptoms. Scary thought huh? Drs. told me years ago I had double dementia. I don't believe a word of it. Ya, I forget a bit but who doesn't?

I've always had trouble remembering names. Somethings stick with me like they were super glued on. I remember way back in high school science class being taught that the more we learn the more we remember as people will forget a percentage of what they learn. What I've forgotten is what the percentage is supposed to be and I'd bet a chocolate donut it is not the same for everyone.

I tell Tom the same thing when he asks when they will let him come home. Totally up to you Tom! harder you work to build those muscles up the faster you will be home. He's just not the same person I took to the ER. I think it was the beginning of December.. Not sure. Days seem to run together now.

Not only that but it was the SS Drs. telling me this. I have gotten better than I used to be though.

I have one memory of getting off of a bus in MI when I was 2. Going down the steps getting off I dropped a box of toy cars and when I looked up I saw my aunt for the first time. A couple of memories from the age of 3 and some from 4. And then some memories come and go and come again... Some memories seem to be brought back by another memory that gets jogged.

How did they diagnosis you? Did you have a ct or mri of the brain.?
