Those power chairs cost several times what a 4 wheel scooter does. At least that is what I saw 4 years ago.

I talked to him today. He is the one that said they would send nurse and PT out. I mentioned the housekeeper we have and he just said One didn't have anything to do with the other. I didn't say cook and bathe. I guess I should of.You need to talk to the social worker or discharge planner to see what your insurance will pay. it is her job to be sure Tom has what he needs at home. Medicare or Medicaid should pay for an Aide to come to your house twice a week to bath him. Even if Tom wont eat the meals you can eat them. You need to be taking care of yourself too. You need to go to the doctor about the sore on your behind. If it's bleeding it is open and can easily get infected. There are products designed to treat the sores. You probably qualify for home health nurse to come out and treat the sore once or twice a week. Sorry for the rant, but I worry about you!
Tom got one 10+ years ago and it was around $2,000.I saw those mobility chairs selling for $8500 20 years ago.
I found some online that have 4 large tires that can go over rough ground. Anything that requires a smooth hard surface to run on wouldn't help me much. I see a few that are around $3,000.
I guess I don't know the difference between the 2.Those power chairs cost several times what a 4 wheel scooter does. At least that is what I saw 4 years ago.
Wouldn't that be nice!I found a light weight utility trailer for a mobility cart too that would transport feed between coops and produce in from the gardens.
could she be broody? When closing up the coops tonight one of my two Ancona hens turned up missing. I stayed out until it was dark and she didn't come back to the coop. She was completely normal when I turned the girls out after lunch. I was working near the coop all afternoon and saw nothing out of the ordinary.
