You can put a folded wet washcloth in the microwave in a ziplock bag and nuke it for about ten seconds. Hold that on your ear, the heat will give you some comfort. Careful that it's not too hot but it shouldn't be.

Good afternoon everyone. It's finally warm enough to be out side in layers. It's up to 57° now and the sun is shining. Cold is on the way with some freezing rain still being forecast with the possibility is will change to that awful four letter word SNOW. I till not be civil if it snows here with even a light dusting.

well it's a quarter after 11 here and I think the dogs and I are headed to bed.

Anyone with Netflix there's a new show "The Six Triple Eight" about an all black woman's unit/division/group during WWII who were put in charge of the mail , VERY interesting/good and a true story.

After taking it easy since I fell in early October, now I try to do a small task ( planting flower bulbs) and end up in pain. I mean really? Planted 8 tulip bulbs today and have been suffering since. Put ice on my incision again.
Old age is not for sissies.

Tom was so happy to hear 6 more days til he will come home. He kept repeating "6 days, Wow." Must of said it 30 times. His sense of time and days are gone. He has been there a year according to him. He also doesn't remember where we live but he remembers we have a ramp to get in the house. Asked if his room will have a window. I wish I had pictures for him. Asked Robert a few times if he would be glad he is home.
