We clean the sandboxes daily, but usually fresh straw once a month. We have to do it more often when it gets cold because they wander around inside all day. Going through a bale a month I think. Evening, all. Made an interesting and delicious lasagne tonight. No pasta, used strips of eggplant, roasted in the oven instead. Sauce was a jarred marinara reinforced with sauteed mushrooms, onion, garlic. Filling was cottage cheese (sorry, Granny, lol, prefer it to ricotta), egg, parsley, and Parmesan, layered with mozzarella and Monterey Jack, shredded. It was very yummy! GC, who loooooves lasagne, was thrilled.

In other news, Ryder goes to the vet tomorrow ...
