Well, nice to see you all briefly. Sorry about all the teeth problems. I sure relate, have had history, but happily no problems anymore with that. DH has always had great teeth. Lucky him.

Speaking of DH, time to play some rummy.

I was at Dairy Queen with my sister this afternoon when a man and woman walked up and showed me a picture of myself on his phone. Only I didn't recognize any of the setting in the picture. Turned out to be his brother who had passed a couple of years ago at the age of 72. I'm 73. The guy had the same beard and long hair. I'd have never thought it wasn't me. They were passing through from Nashville. They say everyone has a twin

Exhausting day! Paid bills and updated books for last month and this one. Why did I do that to myself??? Then made out the menu for the week, and compiled the shopping list.

Then, because I needed to use some eggplant up, I decided to make pita pockets with fried breaded eggplant, grilled red bells, tzatziki sauce, olive, feta, etc. Then I discovered my pita was moldy!! The date on it was 2/7!!! So, I looked up a recipe and made my own pita. Well, I wasn't sure that would work out, so I also made a mushroom tortellini soup. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours to make!! But, it all turned out really good, and we are stuffed because that is way too much food! Oh, and of course we needed a Greek salad to go with all that. No matter what I make, we always have a salad.

2 1/2 hours? Made me think of Ol' Dan Tucker. Supper's over, breakfast's cooking, Ol' Dan Tucker s just standing and looking.
