Granny's gone and done it again

GC needs to have all four of her wisdom teeth extracted. And Medicaid doesn't cover it.
If she gets then removed with Novocaine instead of anesthesia they will cover it. She can even take a Tylenol right before the surgery
DH doesn't get anesthesia and it's not as bad as you may think. The dentist office was a busy place with several surgeons and I saw quite a few kids come waking out with a large piece of gauze hanging out of the mouth just like DH. The puppies went crazy to get that gauze🤣
Some oral surgeons refuse to do it without anesthesia and some don't want the extra risk with anesthesia. The insurance companies say anesthesia isn't good for you(risky) and if you can do it with novocaine and Tylenol you should.. Call her insurance. I bet they will tell you extractions are covered.
I told DH the first 24 hours keep taking Tylenol before the pain sets in

I cant believe they wont pay for extractions! That's crappy. Can you appeal it? I never tried that but I heard you have more likes then you would think and if nothing else it will bring awareness to the lack of care
I did an appeal for DH to get covered a couple years ago. He had pulpitis (inflammation of the pulp) it wouldn't get numb with Novocaine. I won the appeal BUT they said the dentist had to give Tylenol before the procedure and still had to use some Novocaine. He wasn't allowed to give the full amount of anesthesia. Too risky. The dentist office was mad at me. They said it's not enough anesthesia to keep him asleep for the duration of the procedure. They wanted me to pay out of packet. Nope! They couldn't back out because Medicaid approved it
After the procedure, they took me in a little room by myself and told me he has a precancer spot that needs to be biopsied and I have to pay $525 out of pocket . I'm not allowed to call the insurance cause it's not covered. I didn't allow them to belittle me. The correct way for then to have done it is file for a preauth, let the insurance deny it and then I appeal.
I could have reported them to Medicaid for harassment. I took the Easy way and asked the gastroenterologist to get it approved because those spots are Crohn's sores

This is the same oral surgeon that refused to extract his teeth last week. I suspect they remembered me. They have a lot of feedback of patients not getting the procedure done because they try to make them pay out of packet to be knocked out

It was a calm afternoon. As I was watering the flowers in my garden, I noticed something unusual—a dragonfly lying helplessly on the ground. Its wing was broken, and it seemed to look up at me for help. Gently, I picked it up in my hand, feeling its fragile body. It appeared as though its life was slipping away.
I offered it a few drops of water, and to my amazement, after a moment, its eyes sparkled back to life. Slowly, its delicate wings fluttered. That moment brought an indescribable peace to my heart—the joy of reviving a life.
I released the dragonfly back into the garden. After a while, it managed to take flight, soaring gently as though thanking nature for its second chance.
This simple incident taught me that sometimes, even the smallest gesture of kindness can give new life to a soul. It was a beautiful reminder of our deep connection with nature.

Morning all I got good sleep last night. I took a couple naps and went to sleep around 1 I think.I woke at 8. Drs today. I hope they help me with Tom. Robert cant go to this Drs office. He cussed her out. Nothing I can do about it and I don't think I would if I could. Robert was in the right and he is upset I still go to see her. I do it because of my PPs and I normally get my way there. Sometimes a person knows what they need more then a Dr does and she agrees on this with me.
