In 1996 we had 73° on this date and in 1936 they had -12° on this date. Today is cold and snowing with predictions for 3-6" and freezing rain on top
My Dad was born Feb 3,1936

He is one year older then my DH 11-28-37

Feeling rather clever. Ryder's always chewing (gently) on Jenny's ears and neck, she just tolerates it ....
So I put some Vicks on her.
Bingo. He doesn't like it and is leaving her alone.

I'm older then he was when he passed away.. In my eyes back then, he was old. Don't know what happened, it's not old anymore!

Only the pet coop is open and I should be out there closing it. Maybe for a second day in a row they will all be inside saving from bending down to pick one up being their elevator.

I meant the Vicks. Its pretty close to her sniffer.
Fawns ear has a bad place inside. Cat scratch probably. Robert is keeping it cleaned and antibiotic on it.

Oh. No the Vicks doesn't seem to bother her. Ryder put his nose right at it to sniff it several times but didn't put his mouth on it. He's leaving her alone now. I'll probably have to re-apply it every day. I didn't use much.

I have another hen hogging a nest now. The lavender pullet did for only two or three nights. Now it's a 2-yo Speckled Sussex, 2nd night tonight. I can feel around under her for eggs, she just moans at me a bit.
