It's an ASUS not a Chrome Book. Google sells Chrome Books I do believe. I used to buy ASUS motherboards and build my own that way when building a tower model.

I'd much rather have 16GB of RAM memory that the 8GB that this model comes with. For what you do online 8GB should be enough. If no one is going to do video edits and photo edits or use any graphic heavy applications you should be fine.

There should be multiple levels of Chrome Books. The entry level computers of any brand will not suit most people. They will be slow.

I bought mine at Walmarts. Its an Acer and that's all I know about it.

ASUS means nothing to me. I don"t want something that sends everything to The Cloud, I want internal mrmory. Can you recommend something? Something with 16GB?

ASUS is a name brand. This is one of them. Ram Memory is what the computer runs on. The hard drive memory is where your files are stored. All computers have some hard drive memory and unless you install programs that only work with online files you can store a lot of junk on most any modern lap top. This is a laptop with 16GB of ram for operating speed and unless you do tons of photos and videos it should suffice. It's the specs I would recommend not necessarily the brand. There are several good brands out there.

No. It is a windows ACER. You must have a laptop running Chrome instead of Windows operating system. Google makes the Chrome Operating System and Microsoft makes the Windows Operating System. Apple makes the Mac operating systems and some people run LINUX operating systems but those are normally specialty users. Computer Junkies.
