Granny's gone and done it again

@lovesfarms, were you able to take the dogs to the hospital to visit with DH?
This hospital is better mainly because his GI is there (specialist in IBD) they are trying to sort through things. He has fluid in the pelvis and an infection. I sent his Dr an email because his legs were swollen from fluid. He had told the nurses a couple times and nothing was done. The Dr dropped by a couple minutes later and they are putting him a a water pill. An MRI is scheduled. They think his pancreas is full of fluid. If that's what the MRI shows, they will put a tube in his side for a week till it stops draining. They aren't seeing stones anymore. The fluid in his pelvis is draining from the pancreas. They took him off morphine and are giving codeine. The morphine makes him retain water. He's on real food (low fat) I told him if he can't eat his food he needs to speak up to the nurses and tell them he can't swallow well. I will bring him some food tomorrow.

I got an emotional support letter from my DR. I have a little cart they ride around in. They go with me grocery shopping and to the farmers market. They do well for me. I took a new blanket along to drape over the bed. I have them potty trained for both outside and on pads

I had my gall bladder out in 2016. So much better off now that I don't have it. Done with only 4-5 small incisions and they healed very fast.
I had mine out a long while back and the only negative I noticed was I couldn't control my burps.

How do you feel when you don't have them with you?
