It is a GE upright frost free. I think it's 20 cubic feet. It's huge! Must be 6 feet tall! I'm sure we will fill it with vegetables from the garden.

I wanna know too! I have a chest freezer I have to defrost. Time to get one that doesn't need defrosting, I'm too old for this!

I also have a chest type that needs defrosting. I'm to short to reach the bottom of the freezer! It has a drain plug, but if the slope isn't down enough the water stays in the freezer. I have to use a mop to get the water out.

Thanks, Iris. I checked it out and it's on special at Home Depot. Giving it some serious thought.

Im 5'7" or I used to be. I think I have shrunk some and I cant reach the bottom either which seems to be sitting empty now since the clean up. I need somewhere to put all these frozen dinners we are getting but if I put them down there I will struggle to get one out and I wont know what's in there w/o taking them all out every time. There has to be an easier way.

well got the garden tilled up all 4 directions, then got 50 pounds of taters planted and covered, THIS after cleaning/picking up/putting away tools and misc and moving CRAP that was spread all over the quanset, I was NOT amused.

tell me again what the quanset is? Were they good tools? That would tick me off too.

Well yes but not much good for mopping water out of the bottom of a chest freezer. Lol. We use a mop.
