10:00 already. Got to relax a couple minutes before bedtime. Half the yard for mowed this week, the other half looks like a jungle. Had rain every day.
Got DH home and his wound machine stopped working. 5:00 pm a Saturday is not a good time to catch anyone at their job and the home nurses didn't have access to DH chart yet. We didn't want to drive the hour and a half back to the ER
The on call Dr gave me permission to turn off the machine and turn it back on. And it is working again.

Our Walmarts doesn't sell those. I've never heard of them before. Onion rolls are hard to come by here as well

They look like what we used to call Kaiser rolls. We got them at Kroger.

I have taken care of many home care patients with wound machines. The most popular brand was called a Wound Vac. It involves packing the wound with a special product and sealing it down with tape creating a vacuum. The biggest problem is leaking around the edges of the tape. If that becomes an issue, have the nurse leave you a sheet of the tape and show you how to apply it. Never be afraid to call when you have a problem with the machine. The nurses will appreciate you knowing a little about caring for it if it keeps them from having to make a trip out in the middle of the night. Been there, done that!

10:20ish here and the day is catching up to me! I have not felt well all day and now I think I know why! I went to take my evening meds are there aren't any in my little pill container. Looks like last night I took Friday's and Saturday's pills both! Good grief. So anyway, will no pills tonight, except tylenol, I am off to bed. Good night, all! Hasta mañana, Baby!

That was not fun. I just ate so I don't wanna know what my sugar was before. 70 now. Just drank a small sprite One of those shrimp cans and a zofran to keep from puking. Long day. Gnight all sweet dreams

My son with Spina Bifida..pretty sure he's used this.
Went to a gathering for a granddaughter that's graduating. At a park. Was doing fine at first, then not.
I laid down when I got home with the chills. Woke up with a fever and very weak. Dang, I hope I didn't get my granddaughter sick.
Covid is going around here in Utah County. I'll test tomorrow because I'm one with the bad immune system.
