And here's my eggs from the last 2 days.

The outer color coating is added to the shell toward the end of egg formation. Something may have happened where the egg zoomed through this stage or as Twist said, she ran out of paint. Stressors (too hot, predator attack, extreme weather, changes in routine) can cause hiccups in the process.

I have decided that all "Frontline" does is turn your dogs into taxi cabs for the tics so they can then get off on the closest human "dinner"

In our part of CA, Frontline is completely useless against fleas! Terrible, because now you have to get an expensive vet prescription if the dogs get fleas. It's always been iffy with ticks... ticks have to bite the dog to work, but that's not helpful when they rub all the ticks off on your leg first! Frontline does work very well against mites on chickens!!

hey all, I have my boy, Pup started crying. Then I did. It was pitiful . I stopped at the bank and ask me how stupid I am ? Robert had money in his account and I am $300.00 richer today. I am going food shopping. I intend to buy all that chocolate I can . LOL ya,ll have a good day.

#1 just walked in, saw me on BYC, and asked "How's granny doing?" I told him about you spending the day with CB. Sounds like you have a wonderful day in store. Finding funds for food is fantastic! Its been pretty hot this week. Mid 80's that might be it. The rest of the eggs have been fine.

Awww, she was just trying to please you. Although, that hen looks like she would lay green eggs...maybe she's just confused

The pic is of a almost 7 week EE I'm hoping it is a girl.

The one that laid the "white" egg is a Buff Orp.

Thanks! I'm just worried because I have so many cockerels! I think I'm up to 10. And I would have been really upset if 1 of the 3 EEs turned out to be a cockerel too.

Yep! Agree with Lalo. Very pretty, too! That's the color I was trying for last year. Instead I got one red and white pullet and a red and white cockerel.
