In our part of CA, Frontline is completely useless against fleas! Terrible, because now you have to get an expensive vet prescription if the dogs get fleas. It's always been iffy with ticks... ticks have to bite the dog to work, but that's not helpful when they rub all the ticks off on your leg first! Frontline does work very well against mites on chickens!!

Yeah I have to do the expensive vet prescription stuff with the mutt. She has some sensitive skin. I dare use the hartz or frontline on her she acts like it burns her....practically foaming at the mouth. Poor girl. Since the Flea Infestation of 2017, she's been on Vectra 3D - seems to do the job.

Yep! Agree with Lalo. Very pretty, too! That's the color I was trying for last year. Instead I got one red and white pullet and a red and white cockerel.

Thank you! I lucked out and got some free eggs from a friend at work. Actually it hatched from some old eggs that had been under a heat lamp for a week before I got them. 4/6 that were viable hatched.

I plan to stick Quirky and the 3 EEs together, he's so pretty that I hate to get rid of him. Plus adding some color to the EEs.

As suspected....this $500 truck is costing us bigly.

It may need new injectors. ($200 a pop x8 = yikes!) it may need a new fuel pump. It may need still more.

There's also a 120 acre fire south of us a ways. Calfire is flying their bombers out of the airport near our place. Dang those suckers go low over our houses. I tried to take a pic but it failed. It's still pretty far but we can see the smoke.

broke again ! LOL But got plenty food so dont care. I did remember the calcium . Same price . $10.00 2 bags of FR and outdoor cat food = $60.00 . $200. at the grocery store and enough left over for gas.
