Granny's gone and done it again

Our local ABC TV affiliate, KTXS, was hit by a tornado last night. Destroyed the tower and much of the building. Fortunately, no injuries. I'm probably 20 miles southeast of there. I got a lot of hail but I've had worse.
Glad everyone is ok!
I love hearing that you walk your dog quite regularly. My dogs are ..not..good on a leash. My fault. I don't do walks myself with this dizzy now. Dizzy for years. It's crazy. Used to think, i can't do this any more, but I have and I can. Evidently. 😆 Anyway, I love my crazy little yappers. They seem pretty happy. I've taken them to the dog park, they have benches.
I am always amazed and envious of people who walk their dogs regularly. I feel so much guilt like my pups are missing out on something. I think I like mastiffs for that reason, they do not require long walks. They are very content just to be near their human. I did purchase a vest with a handle this past winter because she helped me walk to safety when I would have an episode. I was definitely thankful for her size then.

We had at least two storms during the night. Three guesses how much sleep I got.

I didn’t used to walk him regularly :lau

You folks that walk your dogs, do you live in town? Do you have to walk your dogs to give them exercise, or ... so they can get out of the house to poop? We live on 10 acres in the middle of cow pastures and forest, and our dogs come and go at will through dog doors. I reckon they get plenty exercise chasing each other around, chasing rabbits and squirrels, and they can poop wherever and whenever they want. So my poor dogs don't get taken on walks unless someone is working on obedience training.

Most of the cherry orchards are on the east side. There’s several on the west side side, but most are on the east side of the lake.
I was there in the early 70's and was taken to the cherry orchards in a vehicle someone else was driving, so I don't really know where I was. Just "up around Flathead Lake" somewhere. And I remember they were Lambert cherries, not Bing, because Lambert was the name of the people who owned the Skalkaho Sauna House near where we lived outside of Hamilton.

ETA must have been 1974.

Are you letting her sit in a mixed coop or will she get her own place?I remember my dark Cornish being a very friendly gal with a wide breast.
She will get her on run once she hatches. All eggs are marked now and any new ones will be removed. She has 2 Bresse pullets her age and a two year old White Giant he for coopmates. She will take treats from our hands but is not a lap girl like a couple of the Legbars or the Sapphires. 2 of the Sapphires let me pick them up and the other one will fly up in my lap when she is ready. I'll be watching TSC for Sapphires late summer. If I see them I'll watch for the $1 deals on them at the end of the season. I'd like 8-10 more of them for the few special customers.

Happy Monday Granny Land. I'm going to nap until coop check time. Kids don't get out to play today. :( Storms brewing about an hour before closing time for them. Heavy thunderstorms coming in. They all have spacious coups and they will survive.
