Granny's gone and done it again

If there's puke on the floor, I generally manage to step in it. Usually caused by the cat who likes to eat plastic. Ugh!

Well of course. They don't puke off in a corner, do they? No, never. They puke right on the path of travel. I always use my phone flashlight to light my way when I get up to use the restroom at night. Have done so ever since the night I sepped on a mouse liver (or brain, or some such) in the middle of the night once. Baefoot, of course.

My husband walks the dogs down near the river daily, unless snowing or raining out there. Two bears have been sighted near here in the last couple weeks.

Yikes! Sure it's not the same bear, spotted twice? What kind, black, brown or grizzly?

Tom is normally the stomper here. If its in the floor he is going to stomp it. Its like he has a built in radar for messes. And of course it makes it worse for me to clean up.
Cap., I hope he and yourself are packing when you go out. We are too old to climb trees anymore.

What would it take, to take down a bear? I know my little .38 would probably just pith him off. Not sure if we have bears around here. Cougars have been sighted occasionally.

44 magnum will take down any bear but a good shot or 3 with a .38 will too.

Yikes! I googled the best place to shoot a bear and I got a big Todo about it being illegal and such!
