Got home just after dark yesterday. Not an ounce of energy today. Long hard weekend. Going to miss our grandson's wedding that is just to far away in Ohio. We are no longer able to just pack up and go like we once did. All chickens survived without us under a daughter's watchful eye even if the little one's kept escaping a net covered brooder box. Two were out when we arrived home. Both looked like they were quite proud of themselves. Security measures taken last night and they were all inmates this morning when I checked on them.

Cooper had a great check up. Love this place. Hair loss, he isn't worried about, but there is not the typical type of hair loss on him from what they usually see when it's Thyroid. Plus he doesn't have any skin issues or lack of normal daily activities..eating, drinking. He isn't itching, skin looks fine. He says the Thyroid issue is often over diagnosed. And..he's a Schnauzer. I had knew they often suffered with it, and his age is common as another source. Did say however if I wanted him tested he would do it. Nah. He explained something interesting about how melatonin can sometimes bring back some hair growth in dogs that are mostly indoor dogs. I got the 3 m for him today. Will see.
Took a small needle biopsy of the tumor. It is lypoma and isn't causing any discomfort. I had him go ahead and test that because he had said yes it feels like a lypoma, I'm pretty sure it is, but we do get surprised at times. Glad I had it done. If it gets bigger and starts bothering him I'll have it removed. His teeth look good.

So glad you got good news on Cooper, @Cynthia12! There's a load off your mind. Thanks for explaining all that. Where is the lypoma located on his body? Nice that you got Bella's remains back.
