Yes. I'm a little confused by some of her texts, but I'm sure she's texting a LOT of people, so some of the information might not be included.

She has cirrhosis as well.

Information bit here:
Several things can cause cirrhosis. #1 cause for men is alcohol/drug use/abuse. #1 for women is obesity. My friend has been obese her entire life.

Ugh, that is a thoroughly miserable situation.
I certainly see why you wish it wasn't true!
(Although I am glad that you do not have TWO friends with such problems. One is bad, two would be worse.)

The driveway and walks that I just shoveled aren't being covered right back up in snow.

Oh, well. I prefer to shovel smaller amounts more often.
