I just seared 4 of the fattest pork chops I have ever seen along with garlic, vidalia onion and some other spices I dont even remember already and now they are happily simmering away in the crock pot for tomorrows dinner. Beans to be added later.

now Im wondering if it wasnt a turkey. Sure looked like one. Pouring rain here ALL day so no pictures. I was feeding the chickens earlier and the rain came hard so I thought I would sit in the barn and listen to it. Sat there a good 5 min. then remembered the dogs were in the yard. hahahaaa I opened the door just to see Tom getting the last one in the house. They look like drowned rats.

Who are you and what have you done with my granny!!

For some reason I am smack full of energy and its rained all day ! I wanted to trim tree limbs and have gone out 3xs to do so and as soon as I get out there it gets harder. Basically , I was bored to death. And hoping I can get out tomorrow and not have to worry about food.
