Not at all unusual. I used to think Calvin had just gone to get a burger or was at one of his car races. I think it makes it a little easier? It's part of the denial stage, "he's not REALLY gone."

Oh and I prefer buying the smaller bags because the larger ones take us way too long to finish LOL and I don’t wanna risk it going bad. With the smaller bags of this size, it takes him about 6 weeks to go through it. Sometimes less like 4 but yeah.

If you have a freezer you can freeze daily portions out of the bags that are opened, that way you preserve the fresh flavor.
