Granny's gone and done it again

I have had palpitations lots of times, but it was the first time I was shaky and nervous at the same time.
I hate AI. Went to a drive through the other day. I asked about a sausage sandwich, which I had seen advertised. It didn't know what to say.
Remember when the palpitations were from being around the one we loved?

Yes, I was thinking about that, but I have no way to heat it? Do you mean to also get one of those plug in bulb sockets and a 100watt?
I tried the cooler incubator. Had an old one with a crack in the plastic. Drilled a hole in the side of it that would hold a light socket something like this:

Then used an incandescent light bulb as the heat source. I wired the socket with a plug then plugged it into a cord that had a slide on it that I could use to control the amount of light put out by the light bulb therefore controlling the amount of heat the bulb was producing.

I was amazed that I was able to calibrate it to the temp I needed. Before I could test it out though DH bought me a Brinsea incubator as a Christmas gift. But like I said, I was able to calibrate it to 99.5 degrees and hold it there.

I saw the picture of her. She almost looks like a red Mountain Cur but I love her face no matter what she is.

That's what I said when Pi showed up at our front gate crying her little heart out. God knows what He's doing and He decided we needed a 7th dog and she needed us. If there is room in your heart there is room in your house.
ya, no room in the pocket book though.
I agree with Blue. Styrofoam cooler. I've heard of a lot of people using just plain coolers and the most off the wall one was made using a small refrigerator. You know the little 2X2 food jobs people get for their apartments or guys get to hold their beer in the shop.
I just posted picture of my fridge bator.
Maybe smooth collie, lol
What was the one Prostar had?

Maybe smooth collie, lol
Carolina dog is considered a "super mutt" (and will come back that way on most DNA tests also) meaning you can often see aspects of almost every breed in them lol especially the landrace medium dogs. Granted, we have no DNA test, and I would be very surprised if she came back 100% carolina, she was dumped after all. But every single personality, behavioral and body detail matches, so as far as I'm concerned thats what she is lol. She has 0 herding instinct, and is almost entirely silent, we didnt hear her make a sound until 4 months in, and then it was a single playful yelp to get us to play with her. She has only barked once... in a year and a half! That was when coyotes were in the yard. She stood on the porch and let out a single very large dog sounding bark, and they were gone! She runs about 2x faster than Any of the hunting dogs around here, and can do double backflips. She picks up commands ridiculously easy with positive reinforcement, im talking like 2-3 times max and she has it. Was leash trained and train to sit and heel, and learned to not take food from babies within 2 weeks, and I could only spend maybe 10 mins a day with her, the rest of the time was just with kids playing. (And she definitely had no clue in the begining) She also loves to dig very small holes just the size of her nose and smell. 🤷‍♀️ these are odd to extraordinary for most breeds, but expected for carolina, so when I found the descriptions telling me what I had already noticed about her I was sold. Im sure she isn't pure bread, but I dont plan to breed her or take her to shows.

Our girl was eating a mole from our compost pit, the kids started shouting there was a fox in our compost lol.
When we came out she hung her head and tucked her tail and tried to scurry away, but we called gently to her and brought her some food and let her sleep in the garage for the night (it was January). Within 2 days hubby who "doesnt like dogs" and is notoriously penny pinching (for reason, kids are expensive) had fallen in love, named her, baught her a personalized collar, and gotten a vet appointment and all other dog related paraphernalia lol. 🤣
Amazing hahahaha

Wow just with the dimmer switch?? You didnt need a thermostat regulator or anything? Hmm dimmer with bulb may be the best way to go then. 🤔 thank you.

Do they still make light bulbs that throw heat?
