Granny's gone and done it again

Caught up again At3 weeks if the chicks tail looks square & sticks up it's male. If pointing down & longer it is female. Camp u need to mulch mators with pine stra w & add crushed egg shells to prevent blossom end root. Yellow leaves on veggies indicates a lack of nitrogen. Next year use triple 13 fertilizer.

The guy who works at the nursery said triple 14. But the feed store said 13. I can't do it now to help these?

Mulch just means put it on top of the dirt? We just did that with the strawberries. I gave the kids egg shells last night to put around the tomatoes. Can the pine straw go on top? Is it for a nutrient or just protection?

Cull. Not worth the effort of trying to fix.

Jane, any thoughts on my green beans with the virus? I'm thinking of just pulling them out and putting in something else. Other thought is to transplant, add some radishes and fertilize, see if they perk back up.

Not saying you'll have the same results but I'VE brought stuff back from the dead practically with triple 13
