Granny's gone and done it again

I'm working on the pavilion beds this weekends. Going to pull out the grass and weeds, leave the flowers that have survived, and add in the melons that sprouted. Also have bell peppers and carrots to plant.

That's gonna be 1 of my chores next week. Raking & hauling pine straw outta the woods. Gonna have to check for ticks when i bath. Also watch for copperheads. Not my favorite chore
What is pine straw? Pine needles that are on the ground?

Isn't God great. He gives us everything we need. We just have to find it.

Strawberries look happier already.

mornings, didnt get to sleep til 8am. rough night . I am running late of course. Still have to shower but I am going to drink this cup of coffee first !
h20, after I seen the pic. and how weak it looked I didnt think it would make it either but I tagged Camping because she has really good luck/skill fixing feet . Sorry for the loss but you learned how to fix splay leg anyway.

Jane, any thoughts on my green beans with the virus? I'm thinking of just pulling them out and putting in something else. Other thought is to transplant, add some radishes and fertilize, see if they perk back up.
Try the fertilizer first. That might be the problem. If the beans do have a virus, transplanting will just spread it.

Chick died over night. I really don't think it was fixable.
Sorry about the chick, but probably a blessing in the end.
