Now that's an idea!!! Kill 2 birds with one stone. In fact, it would take care of a lot more than 2 birds worth of problems! If you wanted, do you think you could do it? Supposed to be terribly hard. My dad quit cold turkey in his mid 30's after 15 yrs smoking.
Research how to make ant killer out of BORAX or boric acid. You won't have to worry about killing anything except the ants... they take the bait back to the nest and they all die.
they are ! No matter where I am they are there. A statue in the yard gets knocked over and there are thousands with their little white eggs.
ants are just as bad as lice/mites...in my opinion I wouldn't trust any "remedy" to get rid of them...I would stuck with what was made to kill them..
Yes, it's a bait type thing, so you have to leave it out where the ants are. You can put it in a lidded plastic tub and cut holes for the ants to enter, but will still prevent the cats or other larger critters from getting at the bait. Basically you are mixing peanut butter and sugar and borax. Peanut butter attracts meat eating ants and sugar attracts... well, sugar ants. Most recipes are separate, but I've mixed both. You have to find the right proportions. If I have time before I leave, I will try to find you a link, but now I have to go wash what's left of my hair.
Borax/boric acid bait works like a charm, and it is not as scary or as environmentally harmful as the "real" stuff." It's also a lot cheaper.ants are just as bad as lice/mites...in my opinion I wouldn't trust any "remedy" to get rid of them...I would stuck with what was made to kill them..
