Granny's gone and done it again

Twist, hotter for you than here in CA. Not fun, but it's nice for me to think the little baby yaks aren't freezing their parts off!

nope but they may start melting into piles of fluff and fur. We are almost 3 inches behind for the year, and our yearly total is only around 16 inches.

After 5 yrs of drought here, it's a relief to not be worrying this summer after all the rain we got. Rain dance time for ND!

we were short last year as well. NOT a good time to be trying to establish tree's that's for sure. Very glad that I blocked/slowed the flow of water from the creek to parts further south and east of my place.
 
Jane (and others), I got a few garden suggestions on fb. They said decomposing leaf litter from the woods for beneficial microorganisms, coffee grinds for acidity, and Epsom salts (1 tsp in one gallon of water) for magnesium. What are your thoughts on this?
i agree with all these suggestions. Just don't go overboard with d composting leaves.
