They'll get bigger than isbars, which are more hona sized. I lost my favorite of the isabel pullets. She had a nice crest, too.

Hello everyone. Long sobering day visiting with MIL today. She is so thin and weak, yet she still wants to walk up and down the hallway for a little exercise. I hope for her sake it will not be too much longer. Blessing is that she is not in pain.

Got back home around 10pm, and the house was still 83 degrees. The boys hadn't opened up every possible window, so I hurried and did it, and an hour later we are at 80. Still mid 70s outside, so I don't have much hope of cooling the house down very far.

You guys racked up 30 pages! It's like the old days!!! I will try to limit my mega multi posts as I am catching up!

Hahaha! Smilies are what got me to join BYC. Especially this one.

Five more dead babies. All had good weight. One was my blue cochin. Four roos and one pullet. Half had wettish necks/heads, wondering if an overly ambitious snake is to blame. Seems like anything else would've dragged them off. They were all stretched out like lawn darts.

Sorry about this, camping. It sounds very strange. Do they offer a necropsy service for your state? It would be good to find out why they died. Thought of a trigger happy snake is scary!

I love her, too. I always had black kittens when I was very young. When DD finds her, it's going to be battle royale. She's been begging for a kitten for years.

Wishing, Im glad MIL is not in pain. So very sad. I know its bringing back memorys for you. Hell, it is me. Pancreatic cancer is a very fast growing cancer. Give my love to DH and the boys.
