Granny's gone and done it again

What a totally FARKED up day

As I am driving into the farm I notice that maiah, 19 , and granny are in the BIG pasture. Evidently one of the girls or Porter decided to lift the gate of the anchors and they all made a Jail break.

Cork Rod's dog (from the first litter I raised) went totally blind from the diabetes. Not sure what he is going to do.

What little hay I managed to find and cut was NOT collected in the past 4 DAYS.

Rod did pretty much diddley poop today.

Fixed the main gate into the Main coop and the gate only managed to fall on me twice. It's just skin. But gate is fixed.

Got the fence set up for Vickies peas so she is off my ask and Rods

RE hung the gate to the tit and put a lag bolt just about the hanger so they should not be able to preform another Jail break.

Fixed a break in the barbed wire fence hopefully Rod and I did it right this time.

NO pic of Arse but he did come down for coffee with Rod and the rest of us. OMG he is fast/quick

Comet decided to calve today BUT then Robert and Rod take off in the truck and Vickies follow on little polly and manage to upset Comet enough she and the calf are now both in the middle of the big pasture. SO again NO PICS

Rod and Vickie busy bitching about how hot the main coop is WELL IDIOTS if you would actually open the storm windows fresh air might just flow thru the screens.:he
I did also get an small attic type fan installed in the main coop SO now things should cool of and freshen up.

AS to the lings her hens abanded the nests and she lost 25 eggs. BUT bright side her more experienced hens are going broody and I am first on her list.

Oh and got Robert window ac installed or at least shoved in the window hole. And sorted about 20 dozen eggs and packages them up plus having to RE-wash a few.
Sounds a pretty big day. Maybe it'll be a little less eventful tomorrow. If you get a chance read ol' Red's interview. There's a link a page or two back
