Oh, your water table is very high. That's good news. Our well is 350' deep. This part of CA has crazy geology. Guy right across the street has a 100' well, water at 60'. We are on the wrong side of the street.there are 3 wells one is the original hand dug and rock lined one which is about 15 -20 deep BUT according to Erv (born and raised on the place) it never went dry. Nice clear water to. The other 2 are 80 ft or deeper machine dug and electric pumps at the bottom and that water is always brownish BUt tastes fine.
