I will gladly take them as often as possible . Maybe even Christmas as Mick and Nike do NOT want to go to TX and Brett has nothing much left in their house in Cheyenne. Especially in way of decorations and cooking implements.

Brett is left when his parents moved right ?

I heard St. Helens is doing a year round Halloween city. Is that the same St. Helens as you. My rainier is breathe taking today. I get a better view of that then mt St. Helens.

Yes - that is the same St Helens -- it's the entire month of October because the movie, Halloweentown, was filmed here so they recreate the town center with the giant jack-o-lantern, etc and do different things each weekend. I feel so fortunate to be in a place where, on a good day, I can see St. Helens, Ranier and Hood....especially after all the years spent where there were no mountains in sight.

Got my plants & seeds today(bday present). Still so dry here i ll probably wait til saturday to plant. Made 8 thingies to protect plant from rabbits. Gonna make more tomorrow when i take down hubby's watermelon trellis.

WooHoo - yay for seeds! Hope you have success in keeping the bunnies out.
My mom has a gas stove and oven so I should be okay. Worse case scenario is I have a propane grill in the back yard and a fireplace. Just not sure how safe the fireplace is yet cause I'm not sure if it's been inspected since the earthquake.

That is the one thing I have already thought of as a benefit of having the gas stove (and water heater) in this house -- when we lost power for days at a time in Indiana it was all about the bbq, but by the time we were a week in I was plenty tired of bbq, lol.

Well I managed to weed whip another 30 ft. or so. CB fixed the serama coop.

We hope. He worked hard and is enjoying a milk shake now.
Thanks for the congrats and glad almost everyone is found. Still a few to go.
I managed to get my 100ft extension cord and a mason jar. I will never find all the pieces in the weeds. This is why I thought I might be getting a cold. Forgot I whipped yesterday. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Way to go CB!!!!! Yikes on the extension cord and mason jar, glad it didn't cut you!
They are in Iowa right now. So its just been me and devin and the boys since sunday.

I bet it has been nice for all of you to have a little break from each other and for you and your family to have some time and space to yourselves --- no matter how much you love your larger family it is a trial to live under one roof.
