Granny's gone and done it again

Seems like everyone is asleep. Not much happening around these parts. Just making it through each day. Had a tough Tuesday and Wednesday on devins day offs and now we are about to hit the weekend. I wake up every morning waiting for positive changes. Things will happen eventually. I guess I'm off to get the kids going to school. I hope everyone has a great day.

Mornings ? Rough night, had a heck of a time sleeping because of that lovely nap . wore myself out tossing and turning and when I did drop off my bladder would wake me. Finally slept late morning.
Linda, So sweet of you to do all the addresses this year.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. We need to get silly.
I still have to go to town for chicken feed and I guess a bale of straw for the turkey to roost on ? I dont know where its sleeping now ,havent been out there after dark. Missed looking at them yesterday. Our weather is still nice. (knock on wood) The air is kicking on @70 . Windows should be opened but they are too hard to reach. I got tickled last night , I was in the bathroom and I remembered something Lisa had said to me when she was here about my windows . I dont pull the shades and have the curtains pulled back. So I JUST noticed the curtains were down. She said something about flashing people or she didnt want to excite the neighbors. I dont remember her exact words.
So, when we first moved here I was taking a bath , windows wide open and totally relaxed when I heard some men talking. They were right outside the window not 5 ft. from me ! Workers had showed up unexpectedly . I slunk down in the tub being quiet as a mouse and waited , and waited. I was cold and wrinkled before I got out of there ! You would think I had learned my lesson but nope ! Happened twice but the other time was GKs. Poor dears.

Sorry you didn't get any rest last night - those darn naps can bite you in the butt sometimes. Try putting something on FB B/S/T about the straw -- lots of folks tearing down Halloween decorations that used straw bales, maybe you can get some free

I was reading about the teratoma, I was reading about humans though. They found inside a womans brain hair, teeth cells.

Had a co-worker that had one way back the last time I was living in Oregon -- her's was tissue, hair and teeth and was in her abdomen.

It is also amazing that you are still awake! I'm fading fast. Think it's time to get some sleep... before I die.

Sure, the one night I talked myself out of popping into BYC because I just assumed everyone would be asleep already......and you all were up late having a party without me.

its not very good. I had some the other day that I swear I sweated butter for 2 days. Uncle Wileys brand. I dont taste any butter with this act 2

Treat yourself to a tub from the theater -- you can go in and get it w/out going for the movie--and ask them to "layer the butter" - that way you don't end up with good buttery top layer and the rest is all plain. It's spendy, but so worth it if you just do it as a treat once in a while.

Microwave? I still have my hot air popper from when I moved for college. First thing I bought for myself... because I had priorities you know. We still use it. Hubs has a fat/oil phobia. He won't put more than a few drops of butter on. I like it loaded with butter. Why else eat it? Like eating styrofoam. For some reason the microwave kind makes me cough.

LOVE the hot air popper -- I use mine to make candy/caramel corn -- and it's fun to watch the kernels spin around in the bottom and then pop and fly out. Butter is a MUST on popcorn -- the microwave stuff just isn't right, lol.

She goes to a butt dr for breathing problems?

I don't even want Ming on me when I have to go! Her 5½ lbs feels like tons then. And how can such a little body keep itself from getting moved??? It's like she's got suction cups... just gloms on.

OMG, yes -- how they can take all their weight and put it on one paw so they suddenly weigh like 20+ pounds and it's all poking in ONE SPOT -- even if it's not on a full bladder it HURTS!

Today is the day - off to the DMV to (hopefully) get my Oregon license --- went the other day and ended up giving up and walking out totally disgusted. I was there for over an hour and never even got my number called (in Indiana we would get calls from the head office if they saw our wait times go over 20 minutes!) *and* the one lady that was there was super rude and nasty with people that she did bother to help -- I took it all a little too personally I think because of having done that exact job and knowing that it CAN be done pleasantly and efficiently and seeing the way none of the people working there that day gave a fig about doing a good job ticked me off. Figure if I go early and take a good book I might not notice how badly they are dicking people around or how long it takes to even get called to the counter. Have to do the written test, I really better be able to pass that, lol.

HA ! Welcome to the rest of the world. That is one of the things I loved here. service is so much better .. Maybe you should get called there ? Put them lazys to work.

Oh, I know -- I've dealt with it before, but it was just such a shock to come back to knowing it doesn't HAVE to be this way -- I always had to laugh when I was at the BMV and heard people complaining about how long the wait was, etc (and they'd been there like 10 minutes before we called their number)......they would lose their **** minds out here.
I've actually been watching for an opening there with that same thought, but at the same time I think if I were to get hired there I'd end up not being able to deal with the incompetence and crappy attitudes and I'd say the wrong thing to the wrong person about how it SHOULD be.

Mare, they still havent took all the corn down here yet. So nice. upper 70s. we got a small sprinkle 2 days ago I think.
