why dont people do their homework before getting littles ? Some people just too damm dumb to own a chicken.

That's what I'd like to know.

I spent a long time researching and caring for my neighbour's chooks before I took the plunge. Was I a perfect chicken keeper? No. But I made sure I knew the basics.

someone is so worried ! their baby is getting sick . they fed them god knows what all. oats, spices,ect.. now it wont eat and throws up. hmm... I wonder what could be wrong ? No grit of course . then our great medical team steps in and tells them to wet some bread and shove it down its throat.

When I first got meaties for 4H I knew nothing about chickens. I read up and took what advice I could get. What I forgot to do was clue my mom in. She thought they were diseased when they started to molt. They were ugly.
