Granny's gone and done it again

07/11/2017 - The wildfire affecting western North Dakota is still burning and has spread.
As of Tuesday morning - The Magpie wildfire covers approximately 5400 acres, just over 8 square miles, of land.
It is not yet known if Monday night's rain impacted the fire at all.
Type II Incident Management Team has arrived and will take control of the fire by 6 a.m. Wednesday.

As of yesterday - the fire was 15 percent contained.
Approximately, 60 percents of the fire is in McKenzie County and 40 percent in Billings County.
Luckily, no homes are threatened.
However the Maah Daah Hey Trail is closed between the Bennett and Elkhorn campgrounds.
The White Tail and Magpie campgrounds also are closed.

What a long afternoon of waiting today at the surgery center. They were one & half hours late when they did her left hand 2 wks ago. Today they were 2 & a 1/2 hours behind. Plus the AC was turn up to Polarville, couldn't feel my hands and feet by the time we got to leave
It is always hurry up and wait in medicine. I learned from long experience to always take a jacket, wear long pants, take food and drinks plus a book or a small quilt to work on. Helps pass the time.
