that reminded me of that horse yesterday. It was beautiful. Blue eyes. Robert asked if I knew how to call him over so I did and I seen Robert inch just a hair closer. I thought hmm... I was scratching away and encouraging him to he finally reached his hand out very slowly . A light quick touch . It was pretty cool. Now I want to like run out and buy him a horse. hahahaaa Ya, I know, I cant..

They are adorable. We have baby CA quail running around the neighborhood. It's the second hatch of the year.


TRY to be calm and polite, you know, vinegar vs honey... one tends to get better results in certain situations. The other cleans sludge out of coffee pots.

I've noticed that on other animals... dogs and cats in particular. The white fur seems finer and softer.

I ordered 15 of the Rhode Island Whites to give them a try. and 25 australops and 35 of the new Hampshire. Which are more of a glossy orangie/brown then red The one roo I got last years is gorgeous.

I also noticed yesterday that all of the calves love Porter but get out of his way when he is moving. Otherwise he helps them out of his way.
