Granny's gone and done it again

Friends are bring their lab/husky back out today so all critters are locked up tight. He got after Fluttershy in the pond yesterday and wouldn't stop (not trained) so a camper who's built like a linebacker laid on the bridge and grabbed the dog as he tried to swim under.

All the broodies are still on eggs. The banty hen that went missing Saturday came wandering out of the brush this morning, crazy thing. It's calm and quiet for now.

United Methodist Memes posted this morning, I found it very encouraging. I love John Wesley, he was a fascinating person.

No coffee this am. I made the first pot, but was cooking and never got any. Second (third?) pot they used the blueberry flavored stuff and I wasn't interested. Breakfast was at 8, I told the girls to come in at 7:45. They've been working super hard. I got in at 6:45 and started cooking, put all the chairs down, etc. Felt pretty good about myself.

Accidentally hit "paste" and this link showed up, so I guess I'll share it, too. Eimear is from Ireland and I pulled her name for Christmas in July. That's a little part of it.

Has he hurt them ?

nope this year he is just "brushing" them out of his way I think he learned after tossing Tibbit's last year and all of the girls ganged up on him and put him in time out . Also the calves sort of seem to be like rubber balls they just sort of bounce

are you thinking of the sweedish flower hens ?
No , these were classified as ccl. Of course the place I got them from seems to be just breeding a bunch of junk. I will not be recommending them to anyone. I guess their orps are pretty nice. I guess as long as they lay a blue egg they will be fine.

SO I had a though /was wondering

I know some types of mammals (certain monkeys' I know for sure) can actually choose/promote/affect the sex of offspring. Could that be happening with my Yaks as Porter is the only male in the herd/around/available.
