Granny's gone and done it again

I cant make up my mind which way to go w/ these jubilees. I was trying to talk to Tom about them and he yelled at me for not having them in the bator. They are laying in the mud. If I give them a nest ground or up a little with a ladder, I dont know if they even climb. Never seen them do it. and then who says if they are fertile its by the right roo ?
Mine walk up a ramp.

I paid $10.00? for them I think ? I should be able to sell chicks for 10-15 easy enough. especially since guy I bought them from got rid of his.
Have you decided to keep the sussex? I know you were talking about thinning the herd... I think they would be a good breed for you. Almost the perfect tolbunt color, but much more practical.

And all for only 30 K

We have approximately 25 acres for sale along highway 2 across from the town of Knox north Dakota we had 25 head of horse's it has a old hog building on it and another building full of stalls we built it had running water and power when we had it not sure what it would take take to restore that its been almost 20 years since then its got water on the property and we had electric fence around it . it has access from highway 2 it has a gravel drive with a circle drive its all pretty over grown but still a good property for business or personal use thanks Don
Part of that lot is in the city limits too. Wonder if that gives you any perks, or just makes your taxes higher. Don't think I could take the winters and the winds. brrrrrr....

lol do it. I went to one post and the person said that they had given their chicken a little wine and it didn't help with what ever was wrong with it. they asked for other options. I told them to try Natural Light. Apparently no one thought it was funny. Guess I need to stay at granny.
Yep! That will teach you to spend more time at home!

so Porter is just super loaded with y chromosomes or they are much better swimmers and don't stop to ask for directions
Sperm with the shorter Y chromosomes are actually slightly faster swimmers, so more males tend to be conceived, but that is off set by males having a higher mortality rate partly due to genetic problems caused by missing half a chromosome. If they inherit a sex linked lethal condition from mom, there is no chance to have it mitigated by dad because he doesn't have that part of the chromosome to pass on. Also, higher mortality rate in males caused by testosterone! (I made that up, but makes sense to me!)

Window is in. Still have shelves and doors. Not to mention paint and metal roof. Rain is holding off.
You are doing an awesome job on that! Mine would have come out looking more like this-

Almost forgot, Wishing you best be glad that I'm not your kids or we'd be getting that little horse.
Well, I'm a sucker for animals, so it wouldn't be too hard to twist my arm!

I had a thought, once...

I never know who is on or off. How do you know?
You don't, unless get an alert and see someone quoting or giving likes. If I could get one thing back from the old BYC, it would be knowing who is on. Then restore the missing smilies. Then make it so you don't have to refresh every 5 seconds. Then I would be happy!

:lau My mom only learned to drive because of my stepdad . My grandmother never drove. She also never kelp a checkbook. Papa did all that. My mom and her sisters tried to get her to write checks and balance the checkbook. That never happened lol. My aunt ended up doing it until my grandma passed away 20 years after papa.

I only drove from Green Bay Wisconsin down to here in North Central Kentucky because the choice was drive the van with the dogs and cats down here or walk 700+ miles with the dogs and cats.
The most interesting part of that trip was when we got to the Lincoln Bridge to cross from Indiana into Kentucky. Traffic started to slow. I am in the van windows up, AC on, Radio blaring and saying to myself repeatedly "if any of you stop on this bridge I will ram you off into the river. " I hate bridges. We were stuck in the right hand land all the way across. This was before they complete construction.

Red, I knew you were on the thread because you posted before me and after. I assumed you just didnt see my post. I do it all the time.

I got told off by a few people on the gossip page including who ever runs the chicken part of the 4 h. And a couple pms . One from a lady I know . I see her at the swaps. She said I was talking about her chickens and they were watered and thank you for my concern. They claim they were never without water and I needed to stop trying to ruin kids fun and dont come back.
sure wish I would of had my camera with me.
I was told I needed to tend my husband and stay the hell away from the fair by another.
Those chickens were in distress and had no water and I will stand by my word til my last breath but I realized None of those words really mattered because as one person said , I ruffled some feathers and bet your sweet ask they are all watered now.
I would cull one of my chickens before I would let them be in those conditions. It was no different then Tyson farms.
