I did sample a few after blanching nice and tender the flavor seems more "intense" then the store bought.

We had a garden that we shared in early 2000 with my uncle and it had really good broccoli. Garden is better

gardening with raised beds is the only way to go. Other then for "big" plants like maters, taters, cabbage, things like that.
