Granny's gone and done it again

19 is still being VERY protective of her calf I don't think she has let the little one play with the rest of the calves yet. The other day I stop and was talking to the herd and 3 of the calves came bounding over to the fence trying to figure out just what I was, would I play with them, or was I a danger.

thats cute. 19 is more experienced . Maybe she didnt have such a nice home and has more trust issues then the others.

possibly or because her last one was still born. HE is the youngest of the calves on the ground. I think his name will be " Fifth of Porter" as 5th calf this year born on July 5th and mother is a number as well.

77 w/ 87 % humidity low 71 tonight . Looking at their radar it looks like we are slipping through a tiny line of clear between a ton of rain. Thats the weatherbug Red showed me.
