on this side of the river we also have rattlers I haven't seen any around. Should I it will be the end of the snake. Oh and there are at least 2 more muskrats in the creek

Well shoot, if you are going to have snakes around, this is a good one... harmless... it eats insects and spiders. And it's pretty. What have you got against it?

it takes every bit of will power I have to NOT chop up garter snakes. And the greens are now safe. all bets of off with any others that slither by me.

Looks like a grass snake. Have not seen any of them here . Yet.
