it takes every bit of will power I have to NOT chop up garter snakes. And the greens are now safe. all bets of off with any others that slither by me.

Aw, you're skeered of snakes? When I was little, there was a big gopher snake out on the road and I was worried it would get run over, so I went to pick it up and it bit me! Didn't know I was bleeding until I felt it dripping down my finger.

I stopped my car in the road in FL to try and help a large corn snake that was being chased by a lady with a broom. The snake was pretty freaked out, but i talked to it and gently picked it up. Wrapped it around my neck and drove home. Corn snakes eat lots of rats and mice, and are very easy to handle for wild snakes. My son kept one for a while as a pet. Nice snakes.
