bought some pickled bologna not too long ago. it was aweful

For some reason pickled bologna sours my stomach. I like it, but it dont like me. Hubs like to stick hard boiled eggs in the pickling mixture after the bologna is gone.

Was it cloth or just heavy waxed paper stuff?

Seems like it was linen or cheese cloth with wax covering maybe ???

Now I would never eat those, my dad loved them as well. I've seen what them feet walk in. No different than people eating chicken feet, yuck, yuck yuck

this one wasnt like that . It was the big old fashion loaf . no juice.
Think they used to use the cheese cloth and wax as a preservative .
