SoonWhen do you go back to school?
Oh!I am talking about guinea pigs.
Did you know you can free range guinea pigs? They tend to stay close to their nighttime home and respect fences/barriers pretty well. Good eating too. Just some thoughts.Morning y'all. I've been a busy bee. I completely cleaned out all 3 chicken coops. New bedding and new nest box material. Along with all the normal chicken chores.
I'm taking a short break then I need to clean these guinea pigs out. I think these smell worse than ducks3 is too many.
I thought they look similar to the "chicken" snakes in TN.Chick eating egg eating snakes are Camp's specialty.
I think they are just rat snakes.
Yeah, i had a free range guinea pig. He lived in the raspberry thicket. I would make guinea pig noise and he would come running . Cute guy. Can't imagine they would have much meat on them.Did you know you can free range guinea pigs? They tend to stay close to their nighttime home and respect fences/barriers pretty well. Good eating too. Clabbering up to rain I think. Sticky out there, wind picking up, clouds are dark. Got some gardening done, fresh loads of grass and garden scraps in for the biddies. Feed store run soon. Guess I'll do indoor things for a bit.
But if you make a wire bottom cage, no bedding required. Clean up under cage when you get time. They are amazingly tolerant of cold temperatures if they can shelter from wind. I have seen them kept outdoors in Canada.SoonI think the 21 & 22 for staff then the kids come on the 23. I think open house is on the 21?
Oh!They were in a 3x5 c&c cage in my room but they have been bugging my allergies so they are in the finished basement now. Stella is in a wire cage because she has a chewing problem and the boys are in a giant storage tote. Easy cleaning. I can just dump em and refill them.
