Granny's gone and done it again

I guess I am officially a professional chicken farmer now. :lau Sold my first chickens! $75 for 4 8wk old pullets, one each Cuckoo Maran, Black Australorp, Delaware, red sex link. Yay!

Now 14 more or so to sell. Got two more ladies talking about getting 3-4 or more each. :fl Gotta love wealthy nice suburban ladies. Wow, I just said "more" a lot there. MORE!

Going to knock on wood and have a wine spritzer. Pizza wine and hugs from HE. :yesss::highfive:

Some like me can't afford extras like premium membership. Those with money for boob jobs don't understand.
That's not very nice. There's no reason to diss someone for their choices.

One could forgo one coffee a week and it would pay for the membership. We all have to make choices on what we can or cannot afford.

Good job!

Hope it goes okay.

Nifty got on there after you tagged him. Said they are working on it. How come no one else thought to tag him or a mod? I would have if you hadn't already.

Kiki, check your math. 6 cents a day is 42 cents a week, not a dollar. At 6 cents a day, it would cost about $22 for a year's membership. I bet more members would get one if the price was lower. $60 is a lot of money for some people, especially those on a fixed income. $5 a month doesn't seem like a lot, unless you don't have $5.
my bad....
.16 cents
1.15 a week.
A candy bar cost 1.00
Eat the candy bar each week or pay for no ads.

I'm JUST SAYING...
60.00 isn't a lot if you break it down over the course of a year.

It is nice to be able to afford expensive things and I am glad that I am able to afford such things.
I live within my own means.
If I can't afford it I don't use it. Period
It's pretty simple, people should live within their own means and not knock others for being able to afford things they can't.

I think Jane was just teasing you Kiki lol
I wouldn't pay for boobs because I already have enough of them lol (too much really) but I pay for hair color and nail polish AND clothes! So really I don't see a big deal in getting new boobs.

Is there a monthly membership? I feel like if membership was mandatory BYC wouldn't have so many members but lower membership fees may have more people buying them. At the same time I don't really notice a difference with the membership using mobile. My 2 small ads at the top and very bottom are gone. Everything else is pretty much the same.

I don't care if she was teasing or not.
My point is the same...
Sixty dollars, to use this website per year, for ZERO ads. Is the same as eating one candy bar a week or one bag of chips or one coffee or one hair dye box. It's nothing...compared to all the friendship and chicken knowledge that is gained from being on this site.

Here is a list of the prices for a membership.
And it's NOT just the ads that the membership purchase does/takes care of.

I think the bookmark feature alone is worth more than 60 bucks. The ads didn't bother me on my MAC one bit before When I didn't have the membership.
How do you do the bookmark?
We need a 'How to' article for premium benefits!
Price isn't bad at all for what you get.
3 months $20
6 months $35
12 months $60

By buying larger you save money which is nice.
