We are not easily put off. I was hoping to have stairs down from the back porch by now but it is hard to even get a quote, let alone get work done!

You built that coop; you can build a set of stairs! The stringers are the only part that might be a problem. Youtube probably has a hundred videos about building stairs.

She is ok, and the water is not in the house yet. They are rescuing other people in the neighborhood.

I really don't want to build the stairs. I get the concept, and you can buy stringers. I am just dead tired and need to replant my garden. Health issues had me up most of the night. Rest is needed.

Alright people. What kind of eggs are these? They weren't there yesterday and I found them this morning on my ventilation door of my blue coop. Best pic I could get. Super tiny.

i was considering burning the brush piles but it is too windy today. It is difficult to rest when you have been working so hard every day. Plus the weather is in the 70s! I laid in bed late today. I will find some easy tasks for today. The dishes need washed, as do the work clothes. Winter will be here all too soon.

The dishes are washed. Clothes are next. Have not seen husband today. He says his ambition is to blaze a trail all along the river on our property. That is quite a ways. He took the mule so i figure he is out there in the woods somewhere. I want to keep a can of bear spray on the mule, just in case . I just have to figure out where he put it.
