Granny's gone and done it again

I had the keets on top of as shelf in the bathroom, about 5ft up. They were all sprawled around like lawn darts. I was worried they would overheat, so I moved them down to the toilet tank. After a bit I could hear crying and they were in a big clump when I checked. So back on the shelf.
First time I had chicks it scared me so much when they would just keel over asleep. I thought they'd settle down on their feet like a setting hen, but prone.. flat out... it is the funniest thing. Lawn darts about sums it up!

Poor wishing! :hugs I'm sorry for the month you've had. I wish I could send you a casserole.
I do the same thing. Haven't had a decent night's sleep in a month. First hubs was up caring for his mom for 3 weeks straight. After she passed, he took our youngest on a trip for a week. I got in the habit of waking up and wandering around the house while he was gone, and the habit lives on. My ears are ringing, I have dark circles under my eyes, and I can't remember why I walked into the room. The terrible heat has made it worse with the house open wide and the fans running. Zombie me!

Ooooh. A casserole. yummmm. Sadly, when I am stressed, I eat. Frequently. More than I need. I wish I was one of those stress cleaners or shoppers or exercisers or even a baker or cook who doesn't eat the food. No cookie is safe within 100 yds when I am stressed!

Where is your hubs anyway?
