Granny's gone and done it again

Another ditch dug. One more to go to finish around the coop. Going to do that another day. I still have to shovel the dirt back into existing ditches. 20170904_161244.jpg i don't even want to think about the 50 feet of ditches i will have to dig around the other run.

20170904_151142.jpg It took almost a whole bag of shavings for the inside of half the coop! I am going to have to find a cheap source for them. I am totally out so the chicks can't go in there until i get more. I wonder how late TSC is open today. I was thinking about moving birds after dark but if one escapes it will be harder to find. Wish i had wheels on this tractor but husband says the ones i got were no good on dirt. Now i need an axle etc and i bought one that is too large. Sigh.

6pm here. Closing early.

I just looked it up 6pm. Rats. You are right.
I was just there yesterday and saw a sign

I feed them well, lol. They hatched July 11th. They are 7 weeks and a half. They grew so fast i had to get them out of the brooder. My chicks are the same way.

Mine do that. They're monsters lol I swear mine are fully feathered by 3 weeks. Even the boys. Ones that I've bought take up to 6 weeks!
