Pouring rain and some wind here chickens went to roost early we sure need the moisture here

Before I was born

The chickens went in the coop but did not find the food. I even took one of the pullets and showed it to her but she was only interested in getting away from me. So i spilled some on the floor and she was pecking at it and the other pullet went in to join her. I put several guineas in the coop but all they wanted to do was get back with the flock. Sigh, who knew it would be so difficult. I may go up later and put them all in the coop so they spend some time getting used to it.

Birds are funny critters,just a slight change from the norm makes mine freak out

Planted seeds for broccoli, beans, peas, cucumbers, and kale.

I'm going to do flowers tomorrow. Zinnias, echinacea, and lavender can all be planted right now.

I hung up a cabbage head in the run . You woulda thought it was a chicken repeller. When I hung one out with the previous flock it was gone before I had the eggs collected
