Granny's gone and done it again

Had to go to to doc today for my yearly. They said my bp was high. They ALWAYS say my bp is high. But it's only high in THAT office when THAT nurse checks it. I went to urgent care last week and my bp wasn't high.

And I told him so. But he still wants me to come back in 6mos for another check. AND he wants me to visit the internal medicine doctor again. Even though last time I went in she said "I'm not treating you for something that isn't wrong" ie high blood pressure.

Maybe you need to request a different nurse? Say sorry, that ones defective lol I have a couple I refuse because they stress me out.

She's basically the only one. It's private practice, so one person for reception, one for billing, one nurse, and one doctor. We did this entire song and dance a few years ago. I was always stressed because he said my bp had me at high risk of stroke, he was pushing me to get an IUD that my insurance didn't cover, and I had to go in every month or three for another check up. $20 per visit, plus gas an hour each way. I'm going to keep records this time and demand reimbursement.
