I asked 3 times on here if anyone seen CBs video of my flocks and not one person answered me. It was the first time they had been videoed together like that.

Mare, piggy is the last amigurumi animal I have left. Sold all the others on consignment in a crafts shop. Haha... probably made 25 cents an hour for how long it took me! But I did learn to crochet. I still owe my sister a scarf too. Wonder if I can remember...

Oh, too cute! Hadn't even thought about the library, doh! Guess where Mare is going tomorrow.........

farm tomorrow but I have a 4 pm curfew.

Have to pick up the sharpened chain saw chains (droped them off in July finally done ) , get layer feed , and stop at the glass place and pick up the window that the hens broke last week. Then I get to head out.

Naughty birds! My sister lost a window in her big barn/shop to a wild turkey this summer -- didn't even phase the darn bird.........

Your chickens have a bathroom? Do they flush the toilet?

I need to get about a 20 to 24 lb turkey they are finally sort of on sale for 77 cents a pound and then about 7 loaves of bread for stuffing.

That's a big bird! I need to get around to picking up a bird I guess -- not sure why I was so hot to trot to host the meal here when MIL asked what I wanted to do about Thanksgiving....maybe I can still find a way to get it moved to their house........it'll just be the five of us up here and we're doing that one on Tuesday since both MIL and DH have to work Thanksgiving (at least he swears he does, I still don't see why they would have the store open that day......thinking he may just be ASSuming rather than having asked the boss man....I do know that MIL's store is open for sure) -- then we're having another Thanksgiving at my sister/mom's place on Sunday ---- not sure what we are doing on the actual day, maybe order a pizza?

I can go to Nebraska or China from my house in about 20. min..

Poor DD - they were supposed to close on the house today at 4:30 --- at 9 o'clock last night they got a call informing them that they were going to "have to push it back" -- some b.s. about the appraiser hadn't taken his own photos or something, and now it'll be "maybe by Friday" -- if they don't get it done Friday you can pretty much kiss getting it done at all next week goodbye because of the holiday............she doesn't exactly deal with frustration very well anymore as it is, and stress makes everything with her head 100X worse, so it's been a rough go for her getting through this.........

Hello. Strange morning here. Hubs had a meeting in the city, so got to sleep in, #2 had late start so got to sleep in, #1 had his second day at work and had to leave early, so I made him an egg muffin, said goodbye, and sat down to catch up here. Next thing I know, hubs comes out and asks when #2 has to go to school. Crap! It was 8:30, time to leave for carpool! And he was still sound asleep. Eeek. So he hurried and I ended up having to drive him, just barely made it. Then I had an epic grocery shopping trip. It's getting cold here, so my hoarding instincts are kicking in. Filling up the pantry and the freezer... with just about anything... as long as it's on sale!

Guess I missed you all. Hope everyone is keeping warm!

did I word it wrong ? Too tired to go back and look. LOL   They have a bathroom window from a house. the bumpy frosted glass you cant see out / in but still lets the light in.  Thick glass

Tomorrow is supposed to be the last warm day for a while. I hope I am able to winterize up the coop. Still have a water heater to make, run electric , bla bla

We might get into the upper 30s tonight, and I didn't get the heat lamp set up in the bantam coop. It's a good coop, and they should be fine, but now I'm gonna worry. Got to get it set up tomorrow and hopefully move the garage two up there as well. That's going to be tricky. They are used to being just a pair and having their home in the garage.
