Hi sweety, lady just brought some canned food for the boys. I got news of the food stamps. $374. a month for 5 kids

Granny, I think I would risk calling their bluff. I would tell them that there isn't anyway you can feed them all for a month on $384. That they best pull up their big girl panties & start looking & paying for foster care costs for all 5 kids. I know they have to pay more than that in foster care costs. They are just sucking you dry. I have no respect for that organization. Our family has had personal experience with them & they are no better than criminals. Makes me so mad

Agree with you, Lisa. Biggest bunch of BS I ever heard. They rushed this through so "grandma" could take the kids and take a load off of their budget.

I have no idea how they can count SSI & disability pymts as income. Its not like anyone in the household can just run out & work overtime to help in the rough times. I know there is lots of abuse in the system, but why is it always the people who need it most, get screwed.

Does your state have a WIC program? The kids alone should qualify for that.

Well it certainly didn't put my last comment where I wanted it. Let's try again, I think WIC only goes up to age 3 or 4 Tops. Could even be younger, just can't remember. It's been a long time since my gd was that young.

Sorry about your losses. I was really mad that snake killed 4 of mine and ate three. Then i had it in a bag for a day before i let it go elsewhere. It had regurgitated the three it ate which made me even madder because they were wasted.

They are just like kids, eating everything i put out. They are still young, born June 1st and they are catching up to Mom in size. Dad is a big cat, Mom is small.
