Granny's gone and done it again

Granny, I am so sorry for the stress you have been going through. You are doing the right thing. Your grandkids will never forget what you have done for them. Having a safe place to live and food to eat is a basic that all children should have. I hope their parents can do what they need to have a stable home for these children. God bless you, Tom and Robert.

Bet you can't now?
I don't know, it has been a while since i have been there. I don't even know if they have them in this state. But you can check into it, try Joann.com. i used to teach quilting classes at Joann's in Jackson, TN.

Camp, those nightgowns are so cute. I wish I had that talent. Have always wanted to be good at sewing, but come up short everytime I try, lol.

Let out the hem a bit. :lau

I used to wait until Joannes put patterns on sale cheap. You could get them for about $1.

Hobby lobby does that also. I rack up on craft patterns. Every year!

I tried to put a fancy detail on the hem. Twice the fabric got down in the feed dogs and I snipped a hole getting it out. There are a hundred other places where it rushed and got messed up. But it's the love that counts. :love

I have a bolt of denim and extra lace that I'm going to use to try a dress. :fl

That will be gorgeous, love that lace. In my youth it was called brickabrack (sp) hated it then cause my mom always had to add it to the hem of my sister's hand-me-downs in order for them to be long enough for me & I'm short :lau
