Arm, wrist & fingers are throbbing tonight. Waiting on the last few jars of spaghetti sauce to come out of the canner. I did manage to chop up all the veggies for it. More time consuming doing it one handed. And I might have had a plastic baggie over the bad hand fingertips so I could hold onto the end of the onion while I chopped it
I just know it's tired, as well as the other hand. This one handed garbage is making my carpal tunnel on my right hand scream. Hubs helped a lot with moving kettles & juicing 30 # of tomatoes. He was the lid & ring man too. Got 10 qrts & 1 pint of spaghetti sauce with meat. Ten easy dinners is what I see.

Hope you have your first aid cert up to date. Looks like you are needing it today. Poor little bubba baby. That ear has got to be tender. I bet he didn't let you put ice on it!

Got a paw update! He started licking and we found the problem.

That is kind of odd looking... almost like nerve sheath. At first I was going to say to lance it, but probably better to leave it, other than soaking. Out here, foxtails cause that kind of problem every summer, and I usually let the dogs take car of it, let them lick if it doesn't turn into chewing. The vets don't like that, but it has always worked for me. If wound is draining, they will keep it open and draining instead of needing a tube inserted. But I'm not a vet!!!

OK, I probably shouldnt but, That is the dumbest thing I have heard today ! How do you expect to heal with you using it ? You know better then that.

Must be I ended up with a little stubbornness. I have to make hay, when the sun shines. I don't want to waste the things I've waited so long to ripen.
